Consolis touch in the Castle of Light (31.08.2010)

Consolis Latvija has started a production of the precast concrete elements for the construction of the new Latvia National Library.

The construction of LNL started more than 2 years ago, but the concept was created approximately 15 years ago, and by now the main visual idea has not change. The Castle of Light is the classic modern style building, generated in the certain time, with a definite access and deep sense of the location where it must be. The building cherishes the whole Latvian essence, history and folklore, and the shape of LNL pronounces it – Rainis, Zelta zirgs (Golden horse), Stikla kalns (Mountain of Glass), Gaismas pils (Castle of Light), which is resurrected.

The Castle of Light conveys not only the impressive facade, but also a very good planned inside, lifting out values as comfort, safety and relax, as well as thinking about the maintenance of the national heritage and history.
